Activate the Space is an editorial focused on activism through and in design. Articles were sourced by a group of designers in Art 338-01 taught by Charmaine Martinez at Cal–Poly. My project started with research and sketching of the rough layouts that were in the end determined by the content itself. My layouts were roughly based off a 10 column grid. Activate the Space conservatively plays with what is sometimes the most important space, the white space.
